Privacy Policy

    Optional usage statistics

With your permission, we count selected English article and guide clicks to references, reviews, tools and our contact page. We store daily totals by page and action, with QA activity counted separately. This dataset contains no visitor identifiers, IP addresses, query strings or full destination URLs, and is retained for up to 90 days. Use the statistics preferences on this page to decline or withdraw consent.

With the saved-campaign option included in statistics consent, we save the first and latest eligible tagged public page in this browser. Each contains an approved public path, a UTC date and up to four coarse campaign labels. The record expires 30 days after its first save. Expired records are ignored and removed when you next use the site and browser storage can be changed; they may remain in storage until then. We create no visitor identifier and keep no referrer or full URL in this record. An older statistics choice does not enable this new option. Declining or withdrawing removes the record when storage changes are available. If your choice cannot be saved, the page tells you and disables statistics for that page.

If you submit an inquiry while this option is accepted, the saved campaign context is included separately from your message. It follows the retention rules for contact records after submission; browser expiry does not delete a submitted inquiry. Campaign labels are visitor supplied and do not establish verified search traffic or revenue.
